My name is Ryan, and I’ve been teaching at Accel Learning since 2016. I’ve been tutoring for over ten years and enjoy working with a fun and focused environment. I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelors in Mathematics. While my degree is in Mathematics, I’ve been tutoring students and friends in a range of subjects. I tutor Math from grade 1 level to Pre-calculus and English to students of all ages, including adults. I work with Science up to high school level. I also teach students preparing for various test like HSPT, COOP, ISEE, SAT, and ACT. I’ve also helped adults preparing for Praxis exams for English and Math, as well as FLOEC tests. When I teach, my main goal is always to focus on individual needs. Each student has their own preferences, and it is a great joy to learn and develop instruction that works for each one. That individual care is what makes, to me, the greatest difference in a student’s life.

My name is Andy and I am a student enrolled in the honors program at Rutgers University. I am studying both Mathematics and Computer Science at Rutgers and I focus primarily on software development and Artificial Intelligence. I have programmed my own virtual reality game with the assistance of a few friends of mine and I am working on another. I have been tutoring students both formally and informally for three years as of 2020. It is my belief that students can learn and achieve whatever they wish with enough effort. Although innate talent can make a topic easier, it is hard work that truly allows someone to understand any field of learning. I teach Computer Science with a focus on Java and Calculus-based mathematics. My main goal is to create a solid foundation for students to stand upon in their future studies.
